Walker is born June 26, 1976, at Philadelphia Pennsylvania United States of America. She is of African American origin, as well as an American. Her parents are Harvey Welker a Native American father, and Julie Welker an African-American mother. She has a Native American father and an African-American mom. Walker attended school in the Germantown Friends School in Philadelphia's Germantown neighborhood, graduating in 1994. Then she attended Harvard College where she earned an Associate of Arts degree in 1998. Welker married John Hughes in Philadelphia, who was an acclaimed marketing director. They have two daughters. The couple began a relationship in 2014 when they began to date. John the husband of John is a year older than him. The couple has decided to continue their relationship ahead because things were going well. On the 4th March 2017 they got married. Philadelphia Pennsylvania hosted their wedding.
