
In his third album that is not yet released near completion, Ky-mani Marley certainly is a superstar as a person in his own right. Ky-mani is a native of Falmouth, Jamaica, to Robert Nesta Marley, a legend as well as Jamaican champion at table tennis, Anita Belnavis. Ky-mani comes from an East African term meaning adventurous traveler. As the man who lives true to his name Every album or journey will be an exciting one. The Journey was his first project in music. Ky-mani was an artist of many styles who sought his musical niche. Many More Roads, a classic reggae album which won a Grammy Award in 2001, revealed a mature Ky-mani. Many More Roads, as well as The Journey The Journey, received a warm reception around the world and established Ky-mani in her role of independent "artist". Ky-Mani mixes roots reggae with hip-hop R&B, and contemporary jazz to create his sound.
